Why Was My Shop Deactivated?

At Creative Market, we strive to keep our marketplace fresh, high-quality, and filled with inspiring creative assets. As part of this effort, shops that haven’t added a new product in the past six months are subject to deactivation.

If your shop was deactivated, it means that no new products were uploaded within the required timeframe.

Email Notification Schedule

To ensure shop owners have ample notice, we send the following emails regarding shop deactivation:

  1. First and Only Warning Email

    • Subject: Keep Your Creative Market Shop Active—Add a New Product
    • Sent: Six months after the last product upload
    • Details: Notifies shop owners that they need to upload a new product by a set deadline (e.g., March 5th) to avoid deactivation.
  2. One-Month Reminder Email

    • Sent: One month before the deactivation date
    • Details: Reminds shop owners that they have one month left to upload a new product. Includes guidance on how to create and upload products.
  3. Deactivation Confirmation Email

    • Subject: Your Creative Market Shop Has Been Deactivated
    • Sent: After the deadline passes with no new product uploaded
    • Details: Confirms that the shop has been deactivated and provides steps on how to reapply.

How to Keep Your Shop Active

To ensure your shop remains active, simply upload a new product before the deactivation deadline.

Steps to Add a New Product:

  1. Log into your Creative Market account.
  2. Navigate to Your Shop Settings
  3. Click on “Add A New Product”
  4. Ensure your product meets these product guidelines before submitting.
  5. Publish your product to keep your shop active!
