At Creative Market, we want to ensure that our marketplace stays fresh and full of high-quality, relevant assets for buyers. To help with this, product listings will now expire if they haven’t sold within 18 months of their listing date. If this happens, your product will be moved to Drafts, where you can review and relist it.
But don’t worry—bringing your product back is easy! Here’s everything you need to know.
What Happens When a Product Expires?
If a product hasn’t sold in 18 months, it will:
✅ Move to Drafts – The product will no longer be live on your shop.
✅ Stay Editable – You can update and relist it anytime.
✅ Need a Refresh – To improve its chances of selling, we recommend making updates before relisting.
How to View Your Drafted Products
You can quickly find expired listings by:
1️⃣ Logging into your Creative Market shop
2️⃣ Navigating to your Products page
3️⃣ Filtering by "Expired" to see all your expired listings
How to Relist an Expired Product
Before relisting, take a moment to refresh your product listing for better visibility and engagement!
Here are some ideas of ways to refresh your listing:
✔ Update product details – Improve descriptions, tags, and previews for better discoverability.
✔ Enhance your title – Make it clear, compelling, and reflective of what you're offering.
✔ Upgrade your visuals – High-quality preview images help attract buyers.
✔ Review your files – Ensure they’re compatible with the latest software versions.
✔ Optimize your shop – Remove outdated products or consider bundling similar items.
Once you’ve made your updates, set the listing back to "Live"—and you’re good to go!
💡 Please note that you will need to update your listing in order to set the product live again. If you can’t access the live button, it means you haven’t made an update yet.
Why This Change?
Refreshing listings improve product discoverability and create a better experience for shop owners and buyers. Updated listings mean more engagement, better visibility, and higher chances of sales!
