Minimum Prices

Creative Market is built to help sellers grow sustainable businesses, not compete in a race to the bottom.

One way we support that is by setting minimum prices across the marketplace. Minimum pricing helps protect the value of creative work, encourages healthier pricing habits, and creates a stronger long-term experience for both sellers and customers.

Rather than pricing purely against competitors, we encourage sellers to think about pricing in terms of value: what the product helps a customer accomplish, how much time it saves, and the quality of the work being delivered.

Why minimum prices matter

Minimum prices are designed to support a healthier marketplace.

They help:

  • Protect the value of creative work
  • Reduce pressure to underprice products
  • Support more sustainable earnings for sellers
  • Reinforce quality and trust across the marketplace

These price points are reviewed periodically and may be updated over time based on market trends, competitive positioning, and the value delivered to customers.

Minimum prices by category and license type

All products must be listed at or above the minimum price for their category and license type.

I have a product priced below the minimum. What should I do?

If you have a product priced below the current minimum, review your listing and update it to meet the required threshold for its category and license type.

When reviewing pricing, it can help to think beyond the file itself and consider the overall value of the product, including:

  • The quality of the asset
  • How usable it is right away
  • The time it saves the customer
  • The license value being offered
  • whether the product would be stronger as part of a bundle

If a minimum price update affects your existing listings, we may notify you before changes take effect.

How will I know if minimum prices change?

If your products are affected by a minimum price policy update, we will notify you in advance. This may include email communication and an in-account message.

Our goal is to give sellers visibility into changes and enough context to make thoughtful pricing decisions.

Tips for pricing lower-cost products

If you have a product that feels difficult to price at the minimum, that may be a sign that it needs stronger packaging or positioning.

A few ways to increase value:

  • Combine related items into a bundle
  • improve presentation and product previews
  • strengthen the product description and use cases
  • Add more variety, formats, or practical assets
  • position the product around the outcome it delivers

In many cases, customers are not only paying for the files themselves, but for convenience, quality, polish, and time saved.
