Can I use an Asset to create digital worksheets for my students?

Yes, you may use Assets to create static digital worksheets for your students, making sure that they would not be able to extract the Asset in its original form to use for other projects.

Here are some examples of ways that this can be done:

  • Create a PDF worksheet that students can print out at home and complete with a pencil
  • Create a static worksheet to upload as an image to Google Slides or other online doc, then create editable elements on the page on top of the image, which your students can move around or manipulate.

Can I purchase a clipart pack for all my students to use in a school project?

One license would not be sufficient to allow more than one person to use an Asset. If each Student in your class needs to use an Asset, you should purchase a license for each Student.

Can I use Assets in an editable Google Slide I create for my students?

You may use Assets to create static images in your editable Google Slide. Keep in mind that these static elements must be significantly different than the original Asset and have taken time and effort to produce. However, you should make sure that the original Asset is not used in a way that can be personally manipulated by the Student or extracted by the Student for use in another project. Allowing the Asset to be directly manipulated, moved around, or edited on the slide by the Student would not be permitted, as they do not have a license to use the Asset.
