'Threshold/Selection is not available' error message - Photoshop actions:

These error messages can occur for various reasons, but they essentially indicate that Photoshop is unable to recognize a specific layer or tool required to execute part of the action's instructions.

Actions are highly language-specific, so it’s important to use the English version of Photoshop unless the designer specifies otherwise.

Since actions function as a set of predefined instructions for your image, it’s crucial that the layers in your PSD file (if applicable) are labelled exactly as the designer specified. If you encounter a threshold error, it typically means the action is unable to identify the correct image layer to operate on.

To resolve this, ensure that you have selected your image layer before running the action and that the layer name has not been altered in any way. This should allow the action to work properly.
