Purchasing FAQ

What happens after I purchase?

Once your payment goes through, you can download your item(s) right away - no waiting, no email required.

  • From the confirmation/receipt page immediately after checkout.
  • From your Purchases page, any time after that, if you have an account. Click the download icon (↓) next to any item.

Creative Market does not email download links. Once the payment page loads and your payment completes, don't refresh or close the page until you've confirmed your download started successfully.

Do I need an account to download?

No, you can check out as a guest. Your product downloads from the order confirmation page right after payment, and no account information is stored.

The catch: guest checkout only lets you download once, from that confirmation page. If you close the page before downloading, or want the ability to re-download later, you'll need to create an account.

Want unlimited, anytime access to your purchases? Create a free account before or during checkout.

How secure is your checkout?

Creative Market's checkout is PCI compliant and meets industry standards for handling credit card data. Our payment processor uses tokenization - we never store your full card number, only the last 4 digits (if you choose to save a card for future use, under Payment Settings). Your full card details can't be harvested or reused elsewhere.

I received a payment error code - what does it mean?

Common error codes:

Code Meaning
10024114 Your credit card was declined - contact your bank
10033003 Your cart has no items - add an item before checking out
10034013 Invalid credit card details - re-enter your card info
10034017 Your credit card was declined - contact your bank
Error Code 0 A temporary issue with our payment processor - try again in 5–15 minutes

Before trying again: clear your browser cache/refresh, and double-check your card details. If your ad-blocker is interfering, see this article.

If the error persists, it usually means your bank has flagged the transaction - call them and let them know you're trying to complete a Creative Market purchase.
