Managing Your Enterprise Licensing Setting

Overview

Creative Market now manages a broader set of custom and enterprise licensing opportunities directly on behalf of Shop Owners. These are larger, more specialized deals - think high-volume licensing, company-wide use, or terms tailored to a specific enterprise customer.

As of September 22, 2026, all shops are included by default in these managed opportunities. You don't need to do anything to participate. If you'd rather not be included, you're always free to opt out using the Enterprise Licensing toggle in your account - no forms, no waiting, just a switch.

How to opt out (or back in)

  1. Log in and go to your Shop Dashboard
  2. Click Agreements
  3. Find the Enterprise Licensing toggle and switch it off

That's it - your preference is saved immediately, and you can flip it back the same way whenever you'd like.

What to know before you decide

  • There's no deadline, and no permanent choice. You can turn the toggle off or back on at any time. Nothing you decide is locked in.
  • The change rolled out gradually. We announced this update on September 22, 2026. The toggle was available to use right away, but the "opted-in" list used for new deals only became active on November 6, 2026 - 45 days later - so shop owners had time to decide with no pressure.
  • Opting out is forward-looking. It applies to new opportunities going forward. If your products are already part of a quote or an enterprise deal in progress at the time you opt out, that opportunity may still proceed to completion.
  • You’re always being considered for enterprise opportunities. . Even if you opt out, our team will still reach out to you directly, case by case, for approval on any non-standard or custom license request. Opting out just means you won't be included in deals negotiated on your behalf without that individual sign-off.

What stays exactly the same either way

  • Your royalty/commission rate - unaffected, no matter what you choose.
  • Ownership of your work - always stays with you.
  • Your freedom to sell elsewhere - this setting never lets us enter into exclusive deals on your behalf without your consent.

Why we did this

Enterprise opportunities tend to move fast. Having standing permission to negotiate on participating shops' behalf lets us give buyers a reliable answer while the deal is still live - which means more of these larger opportunities actually close, putting your work in front of serious, high-value buyers.

FAQ

Do I need to do anything if I'm fine with the default? No. If you're comfortable being included, there's nothing to do.

Can I change my mind more than once? Yes. Toggle it on or off as many times as you'd like, whenever you'd like.

If I opt out, do I lose access to enterprise deals entirely? No. We'll still reach out to you directly for approval on custom or non-standard requests. Opting out only removes you from deals negotiated automatically, without your individual sign-off.

What happens to a deal that's already in progress when I opt out? It may still proceed to completion. Opting out only affects new opportunities going forward.

Does this affect my commission rate? No. Your commission/royalty rate is completely unchanged either way.

Where can I read the full terms? See our updated Shop Terms.
