Summary: Adding metadata to your photos directly from Photoshop and Lightroom will make it easy for you to bulk-upload your photos' metadata with our Bulk Uploader. Learn how to do this below.
In our Bulk Uploader, after uploading multiple photos, just set the category as "Photos" and all of your photos’ Metadata will auto-populate. Here's how to ensure that our Bulk Uploader will populate your Photos' metadata properly:
Photoshop
- In Photoshop, go to File > File Info… > IPTC and scroll down to IPTC Content
- The title of the photo should be set in the "Headline" field
- The description of the photo should be set in the “Description” field
- The tags of the photo should be set in the “Keywords” field, separated by commas or semicolons
Lightroom
- In Lightroom, under the “Library” tab, select the photos you want to change, and go to the right-hand column under Metadata. Make sure the IPTC category is selected at the top left of the section.
- The title of the photo should be set in the "Headline" field
- The description of the photo should be set in the “Description” field
- To set keywords, go up to the Keywording section, which is above Metadata.
- Enter keywords in the text field, separated by commas or semicolons.
