Can I sell digital products using assets from Creative Market?

Any use that allows anyone other than the Licensee to customize a digital or physical end product (such as an end-user) is prohibited. You may not use the template in a "print on demand," "made to order," or "download on-demand" application.

To ensure the product you are selling is not viewed as a resale of the original asset or directly competitive with the products you purchased, we recommend making your product and designs significantly different than the assets you purchased a license for.

Significantly different means you are employing various methods and skills to create a significantly different design, including adding textures, using Lightroom presets, adding unique hand lettering or illustrations, adding photos, adding graphics or patterns, using various Photoshop add-ons, etc.

If you are abiding by these terms and have created something new and different, you are welcome to sell your digital products. Please note that creating a template is not permitted. Your product listing should be clear that it is not a template intended for others to customize but rather a final design/graphic that can be used the way you created it.

STRICTLY PROHIBITED USES

Any time you are using products from Creative Market to sell another digital product online, you'll need to make sure your product does not violate these terms, from our license terms:

Nothing in this License Agreement grants Licensee any of the following rights, all of which rights are expressly retained:

  • βœ— Resale or Sub-Licensing the Licensed Asset or any modification of it in source file form is strictly prohibited.
  • βœ— Resale or Sub-Licensing of the Licensed Asset or any modification of it in a way that is directly competitive with the original Licensed Asset is strictly prohibited (e.g., as a stock asset or template).
  • βœ— Making public or sharing the Licensed Asset in any way that allows others to download, extract, or redistribute Licensed Asset as a standalone file (meaning just the content file itself, separate from the project or end use that is expressly permitted) is strictly prohibited.
  • Any use that allows anyone other than the Licensee to customize a digital or physical end product (such as an end-user) is prohibited. You may not use the template in a "print on demand," "made to order," or "download on-demand" application.
