What license does a Wordpress theme come with?

All of our Wordpress content comes with the GNU General Public License 2.0 (GPL), as required by Wordpress. You can check out the GPL license here, and you can learn more about this on our blog.

Can I resell a Wordpress theme that I purchase here?

This is technically allowed under the GNU General Public License (GPL). However, we do not allow it on Creative Market as we want our shop owners to be fairly compensated for their work.

Can I purchase a set of icons and use them on my theme for sale?

If your buyers will be able to access to original files for the icons, this would not be permitted. The End Product you create cannot redistribute an original Item to any third parties in a manner that allows for the extraction of the original Item.

Can I recode a Wordpress theme to another CMS and sell that "new" theme?
