I see my work being resold on Creative Market
We take all copyright concerns seriously. If you see your copyrighted work being sold on Creative Market without your permission, please contact us. If needed, you may use the form below as a template, filled out with your information, to submit a DMCA Takedown notice directly to us. At that point, we will investigate and follow up with you as we work to take the appropriate action.
Please note that Creative Market is unable to provide legal advice or make judgments whether or not any given product does or not infringe upon your intellectual property rights.
I see my work being resold on another site
Seeing our Shop Owners' products being resold or shared in any unauthorized manner is very disheartening for the Creative Market team, since Intellectual Property is at the heart of our business. This section discusses what you can do if you find your work being redistributed on another site without your permission.
Send a DMCA Takedown Notice⨠to the site/host
Our Terms of Service allow each Shop Owner to retain the full copyright and exclusive rights to their products. Therefore, if you see your products being shared on other sites without your permission, you'll need to send a Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) takedown request to the site and/or their host. You may use the form below as a template when you send your takedown request.
If you seek clarification regarding your relationship to Creative Market, you may review our Terms of Service, section 4, and our Shop Terms, section 1:b, which explain that Shop Owners grant us a non-exclusive license, and Shop Owners retain copyright ownership.
Request Link Removal from Google Search Results
Another way to reduce traffic to potentially stolen work is to request that Google hide specific content from search results. That won't remove the material from those sites, but it will 'hide' them from search results. Here is a tool you can use.
Can Creative Market send the DMCA for me?
Because Creative Market is a non-exclusive licensee, we are not authorized to send DMCA notices on behalf of our Shop Owners, nor assert infringement or non-infringement of content created by other people. You may review our Terms of Service, section 4, and our Shop Terms, section 1:b, which explain that Shop Owners grant us a non-exclusive license, and Shop Owners retain copyright ownership.
If you are a Creative Market Shop Owner and see your content being distributed on another site without your permission, you may use the form below to send that site or host a Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) takedown request.
