Using Creative Market in Claude

Creative Market's connector for Claude lets you search our catalog of fonts, graphics, templates, photos, 3D assets, illustrations, icons, mockups and stock video from inside a conversation. Claude shows matching products with previews, starting prices and links, so you can go from "I need a retro font for a record label" to a product page without leaving the chat.

Before you start

• Works in claude.ai, Claude Desktop, Claude mobile and Claude Code, on every Claude plan. On a Team or Enterprise plan, your workspace admin may need to enable the connector first.
• No Creative Market account is needed to search. To buy, you check out on creativemarket.com as usual.
• The connector is read-only. It cannot see your Creative Market account, purchases or payment details, and it cannot buy or download anything on your behalf.

Add the connector

claude.ai and Claude Desktop

1. Open Customize → Connectors.
2. Find Creative Market in the directory and select Connect.

If you are adding it before it appears in the directory, select Add custom connector instead, name it Creative Market, enter https://mcp.creativemarket.com/mcp as the URL, and leave the authentication fields empty. No key or login is required.

The connector is tied to your Claude account, so once added it is available in claude.ai, Claude Desktop and the mobile apps.

Claude Code is a terminal tool, so it shows results as text with links. The visual product grid appears in claude.ai and Claude Desktop.

Any client that supports remote MCP servers over Streamable HTTP can connect. Use the URL https://mcp.creativemarket.com/mcp with no headers. For clients configured with JSON:

What you can ask

• "Find a retro display font for a vinyl record label."
• "Show me watercolor floral clipart I could use on wedding invitations."
• "I need minimal Instagram story templates under $30."
• "Find an iPhone mockup on a marble desk for my landing page."
• "Show me more from the shop that made the first result."
• "Find products similar to that one."
• "What would a font like this cost, and what license would I need?"

Claude picks the right search for you: keyword search, browsing a category or a designer's shop, finding visually similar products, or pulling the full details of one product.

Understanding the results

• Each result shows a preview image, the product title, the shop, the category and a starting price, with a link to the product page on creativemarket.com.
• Prices are the lowest available license tier. Creative Market sells four license tiers (Personal, Commercial, Extended Commercial and Enterprise) at different prices. Confirm the terms and full pricing at https://creativemarket.com/licenses/general before you buy.
  • Purchases and downloads happen on creativemarket.com, not in Claude.
  • Products marked as AI-generated are excluded from results.
  • A single request returns up to 100 results. Claude usually shows the first 9 to 12 and can ask for more.

Privacy and data

• Searching requires no login, and the connector never receives your Creative Market credentials.
• For each request, Creative Market receives only the search parameters Claude composes, such as the query text, category and price filters. Your conversation is not sent to Creative Market.
• Requests from Claude reach us through Anthropic's connector infrastructure.

Troubleshooting

• "Couldn't reach the MCP server." Check that the URL is exactly https://mcp.creativemarket.com/mcp and that no header, key or token is set. You can confirm the server is up at https://mcp.creativemarket.com/health, which returns `{"status": "ok"}`.
• No images in Claude Code. Expected: the terminal shows text and links. Use claude.ai or Claude Desktop for the grid.
• Fewer results than expected. A price or category filter may be narrowing the search. Ask Claude to widen it.
• Removing the connector. In claude.ai or Claude Desktop, open Customize → Connectors, choose Creative Market and remove it. In Claude Code, run `claude mcp remove creative-market`.
