Using Creative Market in ChatGPT

The Creative Market plugin lets you search our catalog from a ChatGPT conversation. Describe what you’re working on and ChatGPT pulls fonts, templates, illustrations, and more that fit, with previews, starting prices, and links to each product page.

What it does

The plugin searches fonts, graphics, templates, photos, 3D assets, illustrations, icons, mockups, and stock video. It also helps you build a kit: describe a brand or a vibe, or start from a single font or color, and ChatGPT assembles a coherent set across categories.

Before you start

  • Works in ChatGPT on web, desktop, and mobile. Availability can depend on your plan, workspace, and region; workspace admins may need to enable plugins first.
  • You don’t need a Creative Market account to search. Purchases happen on creativemarket.com.
  • The plugin is read-only. It can’t access your account, purchases, or payment details, and it can’t buy or download anything for you.

Adding the plugin

  1. Select Plugins in the ChatGPT sidebar.
  2. Search for Creative Market and open it.
  3. Select Install plugin. No sign-in is required.

Using it

ChatGPT uses the plugin automatically when your request is about design assets. To call it directly, @-mention Creative Market in the composer.

Example requests

  • “I’m opening a kawaii stationery shop. Pull a set of Shopify themes, fonts, illustrations, and social media templates that fit the vibe.”
  • “What’s a strong font for my sports brand?”
  • “I’m using Mochi Boom as my display font. What pairs with it?”
  • “Find watercolor clipart under $20.”
  • “Show me more from this shop” or “Find something similar to this one.”
  • “What would this font cost, and which license do I need?”

Results and pricing

  • Each result shows a preview, title, shop, category, starting price, and a link to the product page.
  • Prices shown are the lowest available license tier. Creative Market has four tiers: Personal, Commercial, Extended Commercial, and Enterprise. See https://creativemarket.com/licenses/general for full terms and pricing.
  • AI-generated products are excluded.
  • A request can return up to 100 results; ChatGPT usually shows the first 9 to 12.

Privacy

  • Searches require no login, and the plugin never receives your credentials.
  • Creative Market receives only the search parameters ChatGPT composes, such as query text and filters, not your conversation.
  • Requests pass through OpenAI’s plugin infrastructure.

Troubleshooting

  • Plugin isn’t showing up: Check that your workspace allows plugins, or ask your admin. Plugins marked “Desktop only” don’t run on web; Creative Market works on all surfaces.
  • Fewer results than expected: A price or category filter may be narrowing the search. Ask ChatGPT to widen it.
  • Results feel off-brief: Try shorter style words (“rounded pastel display font”) rather than a long sentence, or ask for Staff Picks.
  • Removing the plugin: Open Plugins, select Creative Market, and choose Uninstall. Workspace admins can disable it under Workspace settings → Plugins.
